The Landkreis Frankfurt was finally dispersed on 1 April 1910, and therefore Berkersheim, Bonames, Eckenheim, Eschersheim, Ginnheim, Hausen, Heddernheim, Niederursel, Praunheim, Preungesheim and Rödelheim joined the city. It is located in the city's medieval town hall, Römer, which is also used for representative and official purposes. Frankfurt is the largest city in the federated state of Hesse in the south-western part of Germany.
